Angela Weigel

Angela Weigel is an arts professional originally from Rochester, Massachusetts. Angela is currently blending her passions for teaching and the arts as a special education preschool teacher in Brooklyn, NY. She also dances and choreographs for Variety Pack Collective, a collective she helped to co-find, and DanceWorks NYC. Recent dance credits include Anthology 33, Spark Theater Festival, Spoke the Hub’s Winter Follies, Universal Preservation Hall’s So You Think you Can Choreograph, and DanceWorks NYC. Through Variety Pack Collective, Angela has had the pleasure of collaborating with artists such as Vivake Khamsingsavath, 530 Dance Photography, ukulele artist Gwendolyn Fitz, and Artistic Director of En.J.inn Arts, Trevor New. Angela Graduated with a MA in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a BA in dance, and psychology from Umass Amherst. When she is not dancing or teaching, she can be found teaching pilates, playing with her bunny Rex, or hanging out with her best friends, some of whom are also in Breath Dance Project!
